Rosedale Parent Teacher Club Meeting Minutes
October 11, 2010
In attendance: Holly Morag, Darcie Kamaka, Nina White, Molly Elkins, Sharlin Zwicker, Sue Wyland, Caroline Quist, Julie Dougherty, Karrie Burnside, April Davis, Sue Hunt, Mckenzie Trautman, Mindy Hagerman, & Wendy Stalfire.
Meeting called to order at 3:45 pm.
Minutes were read and approved.
Principals Report
Sue Hunt has settled with scholastic book fair in the amount of $829.29. The future book fair has been suspended at this time.
Presidents Report
Julie Dougherty is working on the school directory, looking for a volunteer to type it up.
Room parents still needed.
Treasurers Report
Caroline Quist reported that not all the checks for the teachers and the departments have been cashed. At this time the balance is $9,200.
Grant Requests
Kindergarten, first grade, second grade, & life skills-$565 for a field trip to E.Z. Orchards. Caroline Quist made motion, Wendy Stalfire 2nd. Grant request approved.
Fundraising
Julie Dougherty reported we are ready to sell scrip, we will have information and order forms available at bingo night (Friday, October 15th). We will be taking orders twice a month.
Box tops…had lots of ideas.
Applebee’s breakfast fundraiser is Saturday, November 6th. We will be selling tickets at family bingo night for $5 each. Tickets are also available in the office.
New Business
April Davis and Holly Morag are working on a survey. We are asking parents and staff, what is on their wish list for improvements to Rosedale.
